Working with Collective Capital on the refurbishment of their Flagship development in Frankston we proposed a fresh branding methodology to align with the buildings repositioning.

Design Outcome: Logomark, Wordmark and Brand Collateral

The Landmark

As part of the design proposal to refurbish Collective Capital's Landmark Corporate Centre in Frankston we developed the notion of 'landmark' and based the new branding on the idea of a singular pure form that could be widely implemented across a broad range of media.

"A Landmark in name, identify and intent."

Aligning with the architectural response to the refurbishment of lifting the space through clean lines, restrained palette of materials and capitalising on the building and brands existing attributes, the branding follows the same minimalist aesthetic.

The 3 points of vision

The Landmark branding logo or 'key-mark' was devised to represent the three key notions of refinement, depth and stability. The stylised 'L' reduced to minimal elements represents the brands perception of refinement provided by the client to the market. The sense of depth perspective within the triangle represents vision and progress, while the use of the triangle motif as the governing design element symbolises stability and reliability of the brand.

"A brands success can live and die on its ability to communicate its values to its customers and clients without ambiguity."

Flexibility is key

Ensuring a brand can be used across a wide variety of media and opportunities is essential. The 'Key-mark' was developed with maximum usability in mind. Whether business cards, apparel, signage or the building itself, the brand needed to be able to be applied without significant alteration or adaption.

"The foundation of a successful branding solution should be based in a timeless design and remain relevant."
